About The Church

Vicar : Revd Richard Reade M.A.

Originally from Winsford in Cheshire, Richard joined us as Vicar at All Saints, Matlock Bank in November 2004. He is also responsible for Holy Trinity, Tansley. He is 40 years old, married to Suzanne and has two daughters, Gabriela and Katie.

Richard trained at Ripon College, Cuddesdon and was ordained at Lichfield Cathedral in 1992. Serving curacies at Holy Trinity, Wilnecote (1992-1996) and the Penkridge Team(1996-1998), he then moved to Basford in the Potteries (1998-2004).

Stained Glass Windows
All Saints' Church features a large number of very fine stained glass windows in the Victorian style. You can see a montage of various window details by following this link, click HERE. A more recent addition is the new window seen opposite in memory of Philip Turner, long-time Treasurer to the Church. This window is in a more modern style yet perfectly complements the colours and spirit of the the existing windows. The window was dedicated in 2005.
