Pastoral Offices
 Every occasional office, whether baptism, wedding or funeral, is an opportunity to meet and network with people in society. In ministering to others and by the welcome that is given, there is the possibility of sowing seeds that can, by God's grace, lead to commitment.

Nursing and Residential Homes
 Already Holy Communion is taken on a regular basis to Lilybank, Victoria Court and Matlock Bank House. Some contact has also been made with Claremont
   
Mission Shaped Church
 A wider church opportunity presented to us by the national church is in the recent best-selling report which encourages local churches to think 'outside the box' of ways in which we can reach out to society and offer different times and forms of worship.

Regular school assemblies are held and ways in which the church can be of service to the school are being worked on.
These are opportunites to meet the children and raise the profile of the church.
By serving the schools and being welcoming, opportunites arise to draw more people into our fellowship and see All Saints as their church..

All Saints' Junior School
Members of the church serve on the governing bodies of both schools.
A relationship with the schools is being developed but has to be based on what we can do as Christians for the school.

Uniformed Organisations
The Church supports a the full array of thriving youth organisations centered round the Church Hall.

We are challenged to develop the links between us and to see how we can be of service to them.

On our doorstep are energetic and enthusiastic young people who have strong spiritual needs to be met.
Family Services
Positive changes have already been made to the Family Service with a new liturgy and the involvement of the various uniformed organisations.
Increased participation in services is a very desirable development for our church life, not only at Family Services but at the more regular Parish Communion: as is the training of worship leaders, more chalice assistants and opportunities for the youth to be trained as servers, together with more lay people involved on the intercession and reading rotas.
Ecumenical Links
As members of Matlock Churches Together we seek to explore ways in which we can work, learn and worship alongside our brothers and sisters in other denominations, and be of service to our community.
Civic Links
A number of the local councillors are members of All Saints
Emmaus Course
From time to time this course is run and aims to provide a time to learn and grow together. It is open to everyone whatever their background.
The Deanery Plan
As one of a number of churches grouped together in the Deanery of Wirksworth, Derbyshire our planned programme for mission is drawn up to include strategies to foster and develop the following key areas-:

 

-the participation of the young in the life of the church
-the regular provision of some form of process evangelism
-the development of hospitality as the dominant characteristic of church culture
-a growing willingness within the church to serve the wider community
-the growth and development of joyful and meaningful giving
-appropriate support and training for leaders
-support for Fresh Expressions of Church
